When booking a color service online, please remember to book a haircut or an add on blowout as your finish. If you only book a color service with no finish, you will be leaving with wet hair. Also refer below to our color guide if you are not sure what color services you need to book. Root Touchup (Single Process) - The application of hair dye to the roots of the hair, to conceal grey hair or fill in regrowth.
All Over Color (Roots to Ends) - A one-step process that involves coating the hair with a single shade. If you are looking to go blonde all over, this is not the service to book.
Hairline Color - Touches up the hairline and your desired part.
Face Frame Highlights - Adds more brightness around the face, also referred to as a "money piece". The hair around the face is highlighted.
Partial Highlights - Highlights add dimension by contrasting with the rest of the hair by adding color with foils. Partial highlights go from ear to ear on the top of the head.
Full Highlights - Highlights add dimension by contrasting with the rest of the hair by adding color with foils. Full highlights go all over the head, including underneath.
Balayage (Hair Painting) - The process of free-handing or sweeping hair color in soft strokes directly on the surface of the desired section of hair. Used to create dimension with a natural, softer look.
Lowlights - Created by using color with foils or painted on to darken specific pieces and create dimension. Lowlights will generally be 2-3 shades darker than your basecolor, slightly warmer and is used for a more natural look or to create accents within the hair.
Toner/Gloss - A toner/gloss/glaze is used to enhance, enrich, change, match, tone down or intensify natural or color treated hair. Can be booked in between highlighting services to keep hair looking fresh.
Basebreak - Basebreaks are used to blend the hair that is not highlighted in between foils. It is used to break-up the darker roots that were not lightened, which helps remove any line of demarcation in your hair color.
